Summer Family Free Day

The 1910s was an interesting decade across the globe, primarily because all of the advancements that came out of the Great War. But there was more than the war going on! Many other advancements started in this important decade, including early animation, movies, radio – and even jazz. Stop by for a day full of family-friendly activities, tasty food, and live music. Enjoy free admission for the whole family to the NCSML’s galleries!

Schedule:

9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Galleries are open and free to the public

9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Enjoy a variety of activities inspired by the 1910’s inside the museum

9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Community project located on the Naxera Terrace

10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (15 min breaks every hour) Roots of Rhythm will be playing music from the era in Heritage Hall

9:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Heritage Garden Activity (Heritage Garden)

11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Face painting by CR Sisters

9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The Wright Touch Catering & Bake Shoppe (Grand Hall)

9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. One More Bite (Circle Dr.)

9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. O’s Grill (Circle Dr.)

10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. NCSML Event Services Root Beer Bar – Root beer floats and toppings
