Free First Saturdays for Students: Čičmany Folk Art!

May 6, 2017 @ 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

From the ‘Čičmianske Domy: The Houses of Čičmany Village’ exhibit, in Smith Gallery until May 7.

Students of all ages (preschool through college) are invited to visit the NCSML’s exhibits for free on the first Saturday of each month during regular museum hours. College students must bring a current school ID card. Regular admission rates still apply to non-students. Members of the NCSML are always free!

Activities for May 6:

The village of Čičmany in Slovakia has beautiful patterns and designs painted on its buildings. This is the last weekend to see the Čičmianske Domy: The Houses of Čičmany Village exhibit, so if you’re feeling inspired to make your own design, we have plenty of supplies! Everyone will have the opportunity to practice painting some lovely folk designs in the style of the Čičmianske Domy.

Free First Saturdays for Students are generously sponsored by United Fire Group.
Contributing sponsors: Katherine & Ludvik Svoboda
