Free First Saturdays for Students

ChumleyMemeBeginning in 2016, students of all ages (preschool through college) are invited to visit the NCSML’s exhibits for free on the first Saturday of each month during regular museum hours. College students must bring a current school ID card. Regular admission rates still apply to non-students. Members of the NCSML are always free.

Activities for June 4:
Create your own piece of pop art that will rival Andy Warhol’s! Using inspiration from modern pop culture, museum guests can create their own pop art magnets to display proudly on their lockers or refrigerators.

PLUS – Music Revolution: An Unofficial Museum Tour
Join us at 1:00pm for a fun guided tour of our permanent exhibit! Learn sensational facts about popular Czech composers, discover a new-found love for polka, find out how an underground rock band led a revolution, and much more. What can you expect on this tour? Group participation, exciting stories and hidden history, a fast pace, and a sense of humor. No additional cost. Limited to 15 people.
