Free First Saturday for Students: Tear Down that Wall!

wall building

Students of all ages (preschool through college) are invited to visit the NCSML’s exhibits for free on the first Saturday of each month. Visitors also will be able to take part in different themed activities and celebrations. College students must bring a current school ID card.

30 years ago, in 1989, there were loads of protests across the world and by the end of the year; the Berlin Wall – the symbol of the Communist Government – was torn down. Today students can participate in their own protest and tear down a “Berlin Wall” at the museum!

Cost: Free with student ID.

Presented by: United Fire Group, with contributing sponsorship from Lu and Katherine Svoboda.
