Public programs at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library are made possible in part by the generous sponsorship of local and national businesses. Most sponsorships are granted by businesses based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a community that values and supports its rich diversity of cultural institutions.
NCSML Sponsorships are a great way to promote your business’ name to Czechs and Slovaks living throughout the country.
Businesses supporting the NCSML through sponsorship:
- Are noted and appreciated by a national audience;
- Offer important public recognition and promotional benefits to the sponsor;
- Receive prominent signage at the NCSML during their event;
- May receive complimentary admission tickets to the NCSML depending on their level of support;
- Receive an invitation for their staff and staff’s families to the museum’s annual Business Appreciation Family Free Day at the museum, usually in November.
Sponsorship opportunities include:
- Original exhibitions prepared by NCSMF professional staff, or on loan from other internationally-recognized museums;
- Museum publications, like Slovo magazine, distributed to the NCSML’s national membership and sold in the museum store;
- Special concerts, demonstrations, receptions, and workshops; or
- Other unique cultural or artistic programs.
