What is the Exhibit Fund?
- The NCSML Exhibit Fund is a restricted fund that provides working capital for planning, research, and construction of temporary exhibits, including:
- packing and shipping of artifacts
- loans
- insurance
- expert consultation or installation
- technical equipment
- signage, marketing and promotion
How Often are Exhibits Mounted?
The NCSML mounts one to three major temporary exhibits each year in the 2000-square foot Robert J. Petrik Gallery and three to four smaller exhibitions in the Laska Gallery and North Galleries. From 2000 to date, the Exhibit Fund supported these major exhibitions:

How Can I Make My Gift?
Gifts to the Exhibit Fund can be made in one payment, or pledged over a period of up to three years. Cash or appreciated securities are both acceptable ways to fund your gift. You can work with members of the NCSML staff to finalize your intention.
How are Donors to the Exhibit Fund Recognized?
Recognition is given on a large sign at the entrance to each and every one of the exhibits mounted over the three-year period for all donors above the Crystal level. Donors will also receive recognition in select printed materials. Donors at all levels will be recognized on the NCSML website.

Can Memorials be Made Through the Exhibit Fund?
Yes! Gifts can be made to the Exhibit Fund in honor of loved ones, family members and friends. The names of the honoree and donor will be inscribed on the donor board for gifts above the Crystal level.

You will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have made a difference. Your fully tax-deductible gift will enable the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library to fulfill a vital educational mission. You will be proudly identified as one who has enabled the NCSML, the largest, most professional U.S. institution working today to preserve and teach about precious Czech and Slovak history, heritage and culture.
