Dear Tour Planners:
Are you looking for something that is unique, fun, entertaining, educational and tasty? Whether it is a one-day or a three-day motorcoach tour to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library can satisfy the needs of your tour group. Your group will delight in the "Homelands" exhibit, exciting changing exhibits, a restored immigrant home, and shopping in the Museum Store.
Several tour packages are available at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library that will delight each and every one of your group travelers. All meals and demonstrations are conveniently located in our reception hall adjacent to our galleries. Free off-street parking and welcome by a museum staff member.

Tour Packages
#1 Tour of Exhibits and restored Immigrant Home with shopping in the Museum Store: $6.00 per person. Complimentary tickets for the motorcoach driver and one escort. Allow 1˝ - 2 hours.
#2 Tour of Exhibits and restored Immigrant Home, shopping in the Museum Store with Coffee and freshly baked Koláce (Czech pastry): $11.00 per person. Complimentary tickets for the motorcoach driver and one escort. Allow 2 2 ˝ hours.
#3 Tour of Exhibits and restored Immigrant Home, shopping in the Museum Store, and Box Lunch: $16.00 per person. One complimentary ticket with a minimum of 25 people and two complimentary tickets with 29 or more people. Box Lunch includes: Croissant sandwich (turkey or ham), salad, chips, fresh fruit, cookie and beverage (coffee or pop). Allow 2 2 ˝ hours.
#4 Tour of Exhibits and restored Immigrant Home, shopping in the Museum Store, and Traditional Czech Meal served buffet-style. $25.00 per person. One complimentary ticket with a minimum of 25-29 people and two complimentary tickets with 30 or more people. The menu includes: roast pork and gravy, bread dumplings, sauerkraut, green beans, Czech salad, applesauce, Czech breads and butter, coffee and iced tea, and freshly baked koláce for dessert. Served on disposable dinnerware. Allow 2 ˝ - 3 hours.
#5 "HOMELANDS & HOSPITALITY" TOUR. $34.00 per person. One complimentary ticket with a minimum of 25-29 people and two complimentary tickets with 30 or more people.
- First, enjoy freshly baked Koláce and coffee with a Kolác demonstration upon arrival.
- Second, tour the Exhibits and the restored Immigrant Home. Shopping in the Museum Store.
- Third, savor a Traditional Czech meal (see menu above and ice cream will be served for dessert) served on disposable dinnerware. Finally, complete your Czech/Slovak ethnic experience with musical entertainment. Allow 4 hours.
For $1.00 extra, your traditional Czech meal can be served on melmac dinnerware.
Please Note: The "Homelands & Hospitality" Tour must be completed in one day. If you choose to split the tour package between two different days, the fee will be $37.00 per person.
#6 Tour of Exhibits and restored Immigrant Home, shopping in the Museum Store, and Guided Walking Tour of Historic Czech Villages Southwest side. $8.00 per person. Complimentary tickets for the motorcoach driver and one escort. Czech Village is a distinct ethnic neighborhood in the heart of Cedar Rapids. See wonderfully preserved, historic commercial buildings, hear their stories and the history of this unique community. Allow 2 ˝ hours.
#7 Tour of Exhibits and restored Immigrant Home, shopping in the Museum Store, and Personal Step-on Guide Motorcoach Driving Tour of Historic Czech Villages Southeast side. Museum gallery tour is $6.00 per person and $50.00 for the driving tour with the motorcoach. Complimentary tickets for the motorcoach driver and one escort. See the first Czech neighborhood in Cedar Rapids, and the only Historic Commercial District on the National Registry of Historic Places Cedar Rapids has to offer. Allow 2 ˝ hours.

Personal Guided Walking Tour of Historic Czech Villages Southwest side. $3.00 per person.
Personal Step-on Guide Motorcoach Driving Tour of Historic Czech Villages Southeast side. $50.00 per motorcoach. Please note: Offered only with a Museum gallery tour or Museum tour packages.
Tour St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church noted for its murals, medallions of famous Czech shrines and beautiful stained glass windows. A step-on guide will meet your motorcoach at the museum for a short ride across the river to the church. Allow 30 minutes for the tour. A fee of $50 per motorcoach is made payable to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
Czech Village is adjacent to the museum with charming shops that provide additional shopping opportunities. Bakery, meat market, antique store, gift shops and more.
