This is the fifth in a series of conferences organized and presented by the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library (NCSML) since 1999. The past three conferences have progressed through the critical times in the 20th century, leading up to 1968. Comments from one participant at the previous conference:
I give the conference program high marks not only for the number of the sessions comprising it but also for the quality of information presented at each session. You deserve credit for assembling a stellar combination of regional, national and foreign presenters. The varied backgrounds of the presenters were matched by the impressive breadth of perspectives they brought to bear on Czechoslovakia from 1948-1968. -WMR
