Move Update June 20, 2011

(Cedar Rapids, IA)  The historic 90 degree pivot was completed on Saturday, June 18. After heavy rain pelted the area Monday mornng, Patterson Structural Movers is now removing muddy clay off the road and will lay down rock to help stabilize the soil. Metal plates will be placed on top of the rock and the building may be able to move today before the next rain. It needs to move 100 more feet to be parallel and centered with the new foundation/parking garage.
