Recording Voices & Documenting Memories, The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library has been capturing and preserving the stories of Czechs and Slovaks during the Cold War era. On November 8 at 7:00 p.m. the NCSML’s Rosie Johnston and Dave Muhlena will show footage presenting some of the everyday realities of life in a Communist state. The discussion will be moderated by Prague native, Dr. Jitka Sonkova, Lecturer of Czech at the University of Iowa.
