Cooking with Beer Recipe Contest

For beer and food aficionados who like to cook this fun contest is for you.  Join in the competition and present your best bread or savory dish for the judges to view, taste and evaluate. Whether your specialty is a soup, a meat loaf or a quick bread, join in the excitement by submitting your delicious item and recipe on Sept. 25. Here are the details:
 

Rules and Regulations:

1. Must be 21 and older to participate. * 
2. Only one entry per category per person.
3. Can enter in one or both of the following categories: Bread, Savory.

How to Enter:

1. Pick up an entry form at the NCSML's Kosek Building, 87 Sixteenth Ave. SW. or print out Cooking with Beer Recipe Contest form at the bottom of this page.
2. Prepare at least three tasting plates for the judging panel and copy the exact recipe on a card, including your name and the category you are entering.
3. Bring your dish to the NCSML's Kosek Building Classroom, 87 Sixteenth Ave. SW, on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011 by 1 p.m.

Judging:

1. Judges will evaluate the breads and dishes in the areas of display, taste, and creativity.
2. Winners will be announced at 4 p.m. Attendance is not required for winning.
3. First place winner from each class will receive a prize courtesy of the NCSML Museum Store and have their recipe published in the NCSML's newsletter, MOST.

 *By participating in this competition, you are therefore giving full permission to the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library (NCSML) to publicly display the entire recipe along with your full name. Participants retain all rights to the recipes; but, agree to allow the NCSML to publish the recipe with credit to the cook.
